The first step that any received case must go through is the association of the unique Scan Gauge Kit library to the verified scans received from the clinician.
Important: If the incorrect Scan Gauge Kit was selected at time of order, the wrong library will be introduced. Double check the case has been scanned with the same kit that has been chosen by the clinician.
Associate by Matching Features
To accurately associate the library to the scans, select the correct individual gauge from the dummy kit. Use the dimples and the intelligent markings to visually inspect and compare the gauge selected to the automatically highlighted gauge in the scan.
Click the dummy module area to get started - the software will automatically highlight the first gauge for comparison from the scan.
Start by selecting a the corresponding gauge on the left dummy library. The gauge will appear in the middle module for closer inspection.
Visually assess if the dimple markings (highlighted in orange) match the dimples in the highlighted scan gauge. You can also use the other elongated markings for reference, they are entirely unique on each scan gauge. Once assessed, click confirm.
Important: Choosing the wrong Scan Gauge will introduce the incorrect library, this may have detrimental affects to the case and could result in a misfit.
The next gauge in the scan will be automatically selected for the next comparison. Use the same features to choose the matching scan gauge.
Continue this process until all of the Gauges in the scan have been associated with the matching gauge from the dummy kit. Once all matching gauges have been selected, confirm to continue.
Perform a final check. A reminder, if the wrong gauge has been chosen, the resulting prosthetic may not fit correctly.
After library association, the case is ready to continue to Export, or Order.
