Compatibility

Nexus Scan Gauges are designed to work with an array of Multi-Unit Abutments (MUA).

There are some variations of Scan Gauge Kit platforms, they are designated by 2 letters, ie. "AA".

All Generation 2.0 Scan Gauge Kits used with Nexus Connect Lab are "AA" kits, also known as Universal Scan Gauge kits, as they fit the industry standard MUA platform.

Important:

Using a Scan Gauge Kit on a non-listed platform may result in a misfit, tight tolerances are required for successfully passive restorations using Nexus. Hand-checking connections is not sufficient to assess if a MUA is seated/fitted correctly to a Scan Gauge.

Scan Gauge Kits are registered medical devices in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and the European Union.

Note: Some MUA platforms require the use of different screws then what is included. ie Straumann SRA for requires the use of OEM prosthetic screws.
